The Jewish land is in turmoil and it is in reflection of their sin as you say, but overall their financial success is unprecedented. If the Malachi curse is correct for the new testament, then why are they so blessed. Is it because God blesses on your faith not because of the obedience in giving an old testament law? I use Jewish giving as an example because a majority of the Jews do not believe in tithing, but are still the most financially blessed nationality. If Malachi 3 is still a curse upon us for not tithing then why isn’t God still enforcing it?

mostly, I’m guessing there are two things here—–sorta seperate from one another—just like when we are forgiven——-but, not exempt from the consequence of our sin——-

So it is with the Jews——-they ARE the chosen and thereby have obtained “favor” in their business/wealth aspect of their lives;—–abiet, they still suffer as a “nation” because of past “sins” and also current sins (rejection of God(past) and also
recognition of Jesus/Yeshua(current) and also the fact that God INTENDED there to be certain boundaries to the “nation of Israel” and current Jewish/Israeli government is
“ticking off”(my term) God and what HIS intentions are……..very interesting times!

The “fact” as you say they do not believe in tithing is another form of current rebellion against what God intends…..for Massianic Jews do tithe I believe and have correctly administered to God …His rightful portion.

Granted there is too much “fear” attached to todays tithing world…..with expressions like “I’d be afraid NOT to tithe”…….God loves a “cheerful” giver……so when you worship Him thru what ever avenue you choose to tithe…..HE honors THAT gift because it is given to HIM………and I say “woe, to THAT person/organization/church or whatever if THEY miss handle the money………..I believe we all should investigate the source of where we tithe……..and sow into good ground……….but ultimately, God is the decisionmaker as to how to handle the “miss appropriation of funds”

I know tithing works- have proved it—- but honestly, I never give because I feel I would gain——but rather, feel that God “protects me” from the leaching of funds when we do not put God first! My grandmother put into envelopes a couple of dollars(do not know the amount-probably a widows mite) first thing when she got her social security check(back in 170-80’s)and she lived to 10 months of her 100 birthday! She had the WEALTH of family and friends who stood in line to visit with her at gatherings! She was not rich in money but
she taught me that God is in control of all things.

Sometimes I think we “nit-pick things” to death…..LOL God is a simple God with Great love and compassion and just wants us to understand that if we “lean on HIM” he will take care of us……and tithing to me is an expression of faith in that matter.
